Criminal Cases
Achieved full dismissal of all claims on behalf of a defendant facing charges carrying potential life sentence in one of the largest healthcare fraud cases in the State of California, involving over a dozen defendants, and issues and evidentiary hearings surrounding prosecutorial misconduct and potential invasions of the attorney-client privilege. Successfully litigated the related appeal, which was affirmed in the client’s favor in a published opinion.
Represented world-renowned event producer in one of the most prominently reported on local corruption criminal cases in recent memory. In what was widely viewed as a huge victory, successfully reduced a six-felony count indictment involving allegations of public corruption and bribery to a single misdemeanor plea following the exposure of prosecutorial misconduct.
Represented financial officer of a company renowned for its large scale influencer and media campaigns in Central District of California federal court case involving embezzlement of over $20 million, and which involved Department of Justice, IRS, DEA, and Homeland Security.
Represented suspect arrested in a cold-case murder investigation, who was released with no charges filed following our representation.

Civil Cases
Successfully defended multi-million-dollar music festival production company, following full arbitration on the merits, with arbitration award fully granted favor of company and no wrongdoing found. Successfully litigated the appeal of this matter, which was affirmed favorably in a published opinion.
Represented an international film production company in a case that gained national notoriety and media attention. This Massachusetts Federal District Court matter involved allegations of the Civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and Copyright infringement, among others, and resolved pre-trial after successfully moving to dismiss multiple counts.
Represented client against a multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical company in a matter which was the subject of national headlines, had massive implications on Wall Street and the stock market, and garnered political attention from presidential candidates, United States Congressmen and was the subject of congressional hearings and committees. The case resulted in an extremely favorable resolution for the client and exposed previously unknown fraudulent activities on the pharmaceutical marketplace.
Aggressively defended one of the world’s largest social networking sites, with over 100 million members and 25 million monthly visitors, against 46 plaintiffs in San Francisco Superior Court.
Achieved dismissal of all claims against Internet dating service based on immunity under the Communications Decency Act. The district court opinion was published, commented upon in law reviews and elicited support from the Center for Democracy and Technology. The dismissal was ultimately affirmed on appeal by the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Represented the chief officer of a billion-dollar publicly traded company with respect to various #MeToo and sexual misconduct allegations vis-à-vis purported accusers and an internal company investigation.
Defeated, by way of summary adjudication, a $20,000,000 joint venture claim brought by a former agent and marketing representative of a world-renowned artist.
Represented an affiliate marketing company in its lawsuit against two of the world’s largest online advertisers. The suit alleged, among other things, Unfair Business Practices, Unfair Competition, Tortious Interference with Prospective Economic Advantage, Unjust Enrichment, and Conversion. Achieved dismissal of the opposing side’s reactive declaratory relief action in Washington Federal Court, defeated the opposition’s motion to enforce inapplicable arbitration agreement, and won following the opposing party’s appeal.
Represented fashion mogul in novel lawsuit against attorneys attempting to making false sexual assault accusations.
Represented employee and shareholder of a multi-million-dollar company in a dispute involving claims of discrimination, infliction of emotional distress, breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful termination and breach of contract. Achieved a multi-million-dollar settlement for our client.
Negotiated and resolved a wrongful termination employment matter, pre-litigation, on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of a multi-million-dollar corporation, resulting in a $7 million settlement.

Defended a Los Angeles-based shoe and clothing boutique in their defense and counter-claims against a Chicago retail art gallery and furniture store’s trademark infringement action in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Represented leading designer and manufacturer of flow measurement instruments for the oil and gas industry in its multi-million dollar suit against an industry competitor for, among other things, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Secured an outright dismissal of the San Bernardino District Attorney’s unfair competition lawsuit against America’s leading stone manufacturer, after two and a half years of hard fought litigation.
